In 1961, William H. & Barbara Gum purchased the funeral home from Mr. Arthur W. Smith. The Gums enlarged the Potosi location in the '60s and built a chapel in Irondale, Missouri. The Gums took great pride in serving the families of the area.

In 1994, John H. Moore purchased the homes from the Gums. John and his staff have continued to expand the funeral homes and the services they offer. We offer a complete line of Funeral Services, including Cremation and Green Burial options. We also offer a wide range of Pet Services.

Moore Funeral Homes is located in Potosi, Missouri. We are a family-owned and operated Funeral Home. We hope you enjoy your visit, and we welcome your comments.
