Geraldine Theresa Willert of Cadet, MO, was born November 12, 1948 in Blackwell, MO, a daughter of the late Russell Robert Sampson and the late Theresa Lucille Thebeau. Geraldine departed this life on October 23, 2018 at her residence.
Geraldine is survived by one daughter; Angelia Breedlove, one son; Christopher Slade Willert and fiancé Julia Jennings of Cadet, MO, two step-sons; Ervin John Willert III and wife Michelle of Arkansas, Thomas Wayne Floris and wife Jenny of California, three sisters; Rosemary Sansoucie and husband Dan of Potosi, MO, Connie Politte and husband Mike of Cadet, MO, Janey Lawson and husband Lonnie of Potosi, MO, seven brothers; Lindell Sampson and wife Joyce of Cadet, MO, Danny Sampson of Cadet, MO, Jerome Sampson and wife Joyce of Cadet, Billy Sampson and wife Sheila of Cadet, MO, Mark Sampson and wife Tammy of Mineral Point, MO, Gordon Sampson of Cadet, MO, Bobby Sampson of Cadet, MO, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Russell and Theresa Sampson, Geraldine was preceded in death by one step-son; Walt Edward Willert, one sister; Esther Sampson, one brother; Joseph Sampson, one granddaughter; Larhonda.
Geraldine had a great love for her lord and savior. She was a member of the Cadet Baptist Church where she faithfully attended and loved her church family. She was always known to be singing songs to the lord. Geraldine enjoyed cooking and baking as well as reading and working in her garden. Geraldine will be deeply missed by all who had known her.
