Joseph “Joe” Arnold Weeks of Belgrade was born December 23, 1950 in Ironton a son to the late Robert Weeks and Ruth “Peggy” (Montgomery) DeClue. Joe departed this life Sunday, June 13, 2021 having reached the age of 70 years, 5 months and 21 days.
On April 11, 1970, Joe was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue (Halbert) Weeks and they were blessed with fifty one years together.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; daughter, Tamara ‘Tami” Winingar and husband Elmer of Belgrade; son, Craig Weeks and Renee Politte of Belgrade; brothers, Jimmy Weeks and wife Kathy of Belgrade, Bruce Weeks and wife Tess of Belgrade; grandchildren, Dakota and wife Megan, Kaitlin and Spencer, Trent and Amelia, Jera and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Weeks.
Joe was a kind and caring man who lived life to its fullest. He was loved by his community and worked as a maintenance man for the Valley School district where he was adored by every student. He was a hard worker and did not quit until the sun went down. He owned and worked cattle the majority of his life and enjoyed the many gifts of Mother Nature, particularly fox hunting and fishing. Above everything else, his family meant the world to him. He was a loving father, husband and the world’s greatest grandfather. The many memories of his camping family, golf cart rides and road riding will be treasured forever.
