Teresa Jean Benson, age 65, of Potosi, MO, was born March 10th, 1961, in Festus, Missouri, a daughter of the late Alfred Benson Sr. and the late Betty Jean (Sumpter) Benson. Teresa passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, having reached the age of 65 years.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Benson and Wife Danielle, Brian Benson; Sisters, Juanita Benson, Beverly Strong; brother, James "Pete" Benson, grandchildren, Emily, Nathaniel, Eli, Ethan, Lily, Tessa and great-grandchildren, Poppe, Saleen and Nova in addition to many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Benson and Alfred Benson, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
