Eugene "Devil" Stuart

Elbert Eugene Stuart of Cadet, MO was born on July 29, 1957 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Francis Stuart of Mineral Point, MO and Betty Pond of Mississippi. Eugene departed this life under the care of Mercy Jefferson Hospital on March 12, 2018, having reached the age of sixty years, seven months and twelve days.
In addition to his parents, Eugene is survived by one daughter; Shawn Lawson and husband Bobby of Cadet, MO, two sons; Bryan Stuart and wife Margarett of Cadet, MO, Allen Stuart of Potosi, MO, one brother; Eddie Stuart of Mississippi, three sisters; Diana Pyatt and husband Jerry of Salem, MO, Kathy Eckhoff and significant other John Carson of Potosi, MO, Faye Davis of Mount Grove, MO, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and by the mother of his children, Evelyn Stuart of Mineral Point. Eugene was preceded in death by one brother, Teddy Stuart; his grandparents, Doc and Lula Williamson.
Elbert, known as “Devil” by his friends, enjoyed the outdoors. He always looked forward to bonfires, barbeques and good times. Eugene’s favorite pastimes were running equipment and cutting wood. Time spent with family was the best time for Elbert. He will be deeply missed by all who had known him.
