Mary Lucille Spencer (Morland)

Mary Lucille (Morland) Spencer of Cadet was born December 11, 1933 in Selmer, Tennessee a daughter to the late Vannie Vincent Morland and Minnie Lee (Evans) Morland. Mary departed this life Tuesday, August 24, 2021 having reached the age of 87 years, 8 months and 13 days.
On September 2, 1970 Mary was united in marriage to the late Bennie Spencer and together they were blessed with 19 wonderful years together. Bennie preceded Mary in death on April 11, 1990.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Katherine Plough of Potosi, Ella “Sam” Reando and husband Kenny of Cadet, Jewell Thebeau and husband Donald of Cadet, Jennifer Lawson of Cadet; brothers, James Morland and wife Sue of Toledo, Ohio; Kenneth Wayne Morland and wife Cindy of St. Charles; sister, Sharon Jennings and husband Bryce of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren Kelly, Melissa, Lisa, Christy, Casey; 16 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie Marhsall Staggs, Donnie Aquilla Staggs, Kenneth Wayne Staggs brothers, Richard Morland, James Morland, Hershel Pipkins; sister, Maggie Kell; son-in-law, Jimmie Thebeau; infant great grandson, Christian and dear friend Anna Belle Torwegge.
Mary was a very kind and caring person, always taking care of others. No matter the trials she faced in life she always leaned on her Savior, Jesus Christ, to get her through. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and spend time with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, solid example of faith and all the lives she touched.
