Sheila Maureen Moore

February 24, 1958 — May 6, 2024

   Sheila Maureen Moore, of Eureka, Missouri, passed away on May 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished. She was born on February 24, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late Raymond Brewer and Lola (Barton) Brewer. No matter where Sheila went she brought joy and light into the lives of around her.

   Sheila was known for her remarkable ability to make every person feel special. Her warmth and caring nature touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sheila had a passion for playing board games, with Yahtzee being a favorite pastime. She was also a faithful member of the 1st Baptist Church of Cedar Hill, where her presence brought comfort and joy to the congregation.

   One of Sheila's proudest accomplishments in life was watching her son succeed and witnessing her family's achievements unfold. She took great pride in their growth and happiness.

   Sheila Maureen Moore is survived by her loving son John Moore Jr. and his wife Crystal of Cedar Hill, MO; two dear sisters, Valerie Russell and husband Randahl of High Ridge, MO, Shelba Akers and husband John of House Springs, MO; one brother Gregory Brewer and Steve of Creve Coeur, MO; cherished grandchildren John, Jacob, Joseph, Amber; as well as great-grandchildren Desiree, Leo and another great grandson on the way.  

   As we gather to honor and remember Sheila's life, let us carry forward the love and compassion she showed to others. Her spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear.
