Roger Thomas Koch was born on November 4, 1965, the last of seven children born to Matthew (Boots) Koch and Clarice (Degonia) Koch. He passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, surrounded by family. Roger attended the Pam Dudley Center for a number of years and was well known in the community. He enjoyed bowling, basketball, and visiting Branson shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Boots and Clarice Koch, and by two brothers, Wayne and Gary Koch. He is survived by three sisters, Karen (Frank) Meyers, of Potosi, Debra (Marion) McGuinn of Florissant, Denise (Steven) Stamos of St. Mary's, Kansas, and one brother, Kevin (Debra), of Cadet. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and other relatives.

Arrangements are being handled by Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, with visitation scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11, from 4-8 PM, and from 8:30-9:30 AM on Saturday, Sept. 12. A funeral Mass will be offered at Moore Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Saturday, followed by interment between his parents at St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery in Old Mines.
