CATHERINE ROBERTSON OF ST. PETERS, MISSOURI, FORMERLY OF POTOSI, WAS BORN DECEMBER 3, 1913, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE ROY AND EFFIE (SIMMONS) NICHOLSON. CATHERINE DEPARTED THIS LIFE IN EUREKA, MISSOURI, ON MARCH 24, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-FIVE YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY-ONE DAYS.
CATHERINE IS SURVIVED BY ONE SISTER, VIRGINIA MEYER OF ST. PETERS AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO BROTHERS, VIVIAN T. NICHOLSON AND LEO NICHOLSON.
CATHERINE WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF THE ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH AND WAS VERY FAITHFUL TO ITS' TEACHINGS. CATHERINE ENJOYED FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND HER SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WITH THEM. CATHERINE WAS A KIND AND LOVING WOMAN WITH GOOD INTENTIONS IN HER HEART AT ALL TIMES.
VISITATION WAS HELD SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 1999, FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 11:00 A.M. AT THE GUM & SON FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
A FUNERAL MASS WAS CELEBRATED SATURDAY, MARCH 27, 1999, AT 11:00 A.M. AT ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH WITH FATHER GEORGE GALOVICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN ST. JAMES CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF GUM & SON FUNERAL HOMES, POTOSI.
