Robert Wayne Ayres

Robert Wayne Ayres, born on March 18, 1962, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, was a man known for his generous, loving, and kind nature. With a passion for the outdoors and a zest for life, Robert touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn his untimely passing on September 21, 2023.

Robert's love for nature extended to his favorite hobbies including fishing and hunting. There was nothing more peaceful to him than spending time by the riverside, casting a line into the water, or wandering through the woods in search of game. He found solace in the simplicity of these activities and often invited friends and family to join him in these adventures.

In addition to his love of the outdoors, Robert enjoyed playing cards and cherished any opportunity to gather around a table with loved ones for a spirited game. These moments were filled with laughter and camaraderie as Robert's playful nature sparked joy in those around him.

However, above all else, Robert cherished spending time with his friends and family. The bonds he nurtured with each person in his life were strong and unwavering. His genuine care and selflessness extended beyond blood ties, making everyone feel like a member of his chosen family.

Robert's memory will be forever treasured by his beloved daughter Heather Moody and her husband James, as well as his son Rocky LaChance. They held a special place in their father's heart and will carry on his legacy through their own lives.

He is survived by his sisters Tammy Wittman, Bonnie Hedrick and her husband Jeff, Bridgette Helm; half-sister Lisa Ueslmann; Brother Charles Ayres Jr., as well as Aunt and Uncle Sally and Ronnie Skiles. Robert brought immense joy to each member of this cherished family network. Their lives are forever enriched by the love and warmth he shared with them.

Sadly, Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Norma (Skiles) Watkins, and his father, Charles William Ayers Sr. Their spirits will no doubt be reunited in the eternal embrace of love.

Robert's presence in this world will be sorely missed. His kindness, generosity, and love for life served as an inspiration to all those around him.
