ELMER CHARLES "PUNK" PRATT
Elmer Charles "Punk" Pratt of Bismarck, Missouri was born Tuesday, February 15, 1916 in Irondale, Missouri, a son of the late Mamie (Phayre) Pratt and Christopher Pratt. Punk died on Friday, April 7, 2000 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of Eighty-four years, one month and twenty-three days.
Punk was united in marriage to Myra Fay Hardy on December 23, 1944 in Irondale, Missouri, they were blessed to have Four Daughters and Five Sons born to the union.
Punk is survived by his loving and devoted wife Myra Pratt of Bismarck, Missouri; Four daughters, Nancy Phillips and husband Curtis of Anniston, Alabama, Mary Ellen Anderson of Leadwood, Missouri, Cheryl Bockenkamp and husband Bill of Bismarck, Missouri, Susie Bockenkamp and husband Charles of Bismarck, Missouri; Five sons, Leslie Barton and wife Omalee of Ironton, Missouri, Robert Pratt, Charles Pratt, Darrell Pratt and wife Sandra and Billy Pratt all of Bismarck, Missouri; Twenty-nine Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren; Four brothers, Roy "Dink" Pratt and wife Sandy of Bismarck, Missouri, Edward Pratt and wife Ellen of Irondale, Missouri, Earl Pratt of Chester, Illinois, Clifford "Skip" Pratt and wife Mary of Centralia, Illinois; Three sisters, Loretta "Chub" Jamison of Frankclay, Missouri, Winnie Knox of Park Hills, Missouri, Helen Eichenberger of Irondale, Missouri. In addition to his parents, Punk was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Pratt, Robert Pratt and Bill Pratt and by one sister Emma Taylor.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 9, 2000, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Irondale.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 10, 2000, at 10:00 A.M. at the chapel with Reverend Gene Leach officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Moore Funeral Home, Irondale.
Serving as pallbearers were, Rusty Pratt, Donnie Pratt, Chris Pratt, Jeff Pratt, Tommy Knox, Lonnie Taylor, Dewain Taylor and Keith Pratt.
