Sonya Maria (Fudge) Portell of Potosi was born September 6, 1977 to Mikel Fudge and the late Sherill (Squires) Gonzalez. Sonya departed this life Friday, June 25, 2021 having reached the age of 43 years, 9 months and 19 days.
On November 12, 2016, Sonya was united in marriage to Timothy Portell and shared four wonderful years together.
Sonya is survived by her loving husband, Timothy; sons, Walter Thomas Scott II and fiancé Courtney Karll of Belle, Antonio Fudge and fiancé Sienna Lanham-Boyer of Potosi, Jason Fudge of Fort Leonard Wood and Dustin Scott of Poplar Bluff; sister, Wilma Leonard and husband Rex of Ozark; brother, Mikel fudge II of Owensville; step-father, Antonio Gonzalez of Owensville; 2 grandchildren, Leona Scott and William Scott and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to her mother she was proceeded in death by her son, Zachary Fudge.
Sonya was very kind and caring, always taking care of her family and loved ones. She enjoyed spending time with family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed cross stitching, diamond art, video games, card games and reading Harry Potter Books.
Private services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Mo.
