Peggy Kozemski, 84, of Bismarck Mo, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on September 2, 1941, second daughter to the late Ross Paul Easton and Helen (Ervin) Easton. On September 17, 1960, she married the love of her life, Robert Paul Kozemski, with whom she shared a beautiful long life before his passing. Together they enjoyed music, spending time with friends, and raising their 4 children. Known for their hospitality, Peg and Bob loved nothing more than socializing with friends and gathering people together.
Peggy lived her life with an open door, gracious spirit and curious, active mind. She was an avid reader and a life-long learner who continued to take online classes to expand her mind. Peggy enjoyed spending her free time playing games with her grandchildren and hosting get-togethers whenever possible. She could also be found relaxing with her companion cat, Jasper (affectionately known as Jack), in her later years.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Kay Easton. Her legacy lives on through her four children and families: Michael (Julie) Kozemski, of Illinois, Linda (Jeffrey) Buswell, of Virginia, Dean (Toni) Kozemski, of Missouri, and Laura (Richard) Hauler, of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Dylan, Matthew, Ryder, and Chase Kozemski; Ian, Charlotte, and Tristan Buswell; Kaitlyn and Marissa Hauler; as well as three great-grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
