Pamela Sue Kwan, of Potosi, Missouri was born Wednesday, August 21, 1968, in Ironton, Missouri. Daughter of Carol Sue Warren and the late Danny Everett Warren. Pamela departed this life on Wednesday September 30, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family having reached the age of fifty-eight years and thirty-nine days.
Pamela was united in marriage to Philip Wong Kwan on November 14, 1987, in Potosi, Missouri. They were blessed with six children.
Pamela is survived by her mother, Carol Warren of Potosi, Missouri, three sons Major Philip Kwan USMC (Retired) and wife, Dr. Courtney Kwan, O.D. of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Coy Kwan and wife Xinru Zhong of Houston, Texas, and Adam Kwan of St. Charles, Missouri; three daughters Tasha Devens and husband Brinton of St. Charles, Missouri, Dr. Olivia Kwan, M.D. and husband Dylan Stanfield of Houston, Texas, Tiffany Sobczak and husband Benjamin of Rockford, Illinois; grandchildren Kanaan, Aleksander, Roman, Pierce, Reagan and Kora; two sisters, Cindy Skiles and husband Andy of Potosi, Missouri, and Brenda Walther and husband Brian of Blackwell, Missouri, one sister-in-law Dr. Luz Kwan, M.D. of Corrales, New Mexico, one brother-in-law Captain John Sutter USN (Retired) of Corrales, New Mexico, and companion Terry Williams of Potosi, Missouri. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband Philip Kwan, father, Danny Warren, sister Danene Campbell, sister-in-law Dr. Thelma Sutter, M.D. and brother-in-law Dr. Vic Kwan, M.D.
Pamela had a special relationship with her husband Philip spending nearly 24 hours a day together for more than 30 years while jointly operating Kwan Trucking in Potosi, Missouri for over 30 years. After Philip’s death, Pamela would continue to run the business for several years before retiring. Outside of Kwan Trucking, Pamela enjoyed spending the majority of her time with her children, volunteered at the local public school, and served as the Potosi Elementary PTA President for many years. Pamela loved her children, never missing any of their events, home or away, between many athletic and academic endeavors. Above all, she loved her family and being with them. Her favorite day was a day spent at home with her loved ones. Pamela will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, MO where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026. Funeral services will be at Moore Funeral Home at 6:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2026.
