Betty Jane Nyhoff (Smith)

Betty Jane (Smith) Nyhoff of Potosi was born June 22, 1957 in Saint Louis a daughter to the late Howard Smith and Grace Freeman. Betty departed this life Tuesday, April 12, 2022 having reached the age of 64 years, 9 months and 21 days.
Betty is survived by her husband, Harry D. Nyhoff of Potosi; daughter, Dawn Bennett of St. Louis; sons, Nicholas Thompson wife Lindsey of Bonne Terre, Thomas Thompson and wife Lesha of Cadet, Michael Manier and wife Danielle of Sullivan; brothers, Eugene Smith, Danny Smith, Wayne Smith, Eddie Smith, Michael Smith, Donald Smith, Bobby Smith, Terry Smith and Kenny Smith; sister, Shirley Craig and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her loving mother and father, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Smith.
Betty enjoyed spending precious time with her family and friends and making cherished memories with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, making Christmas ornaments and putting puzzles together. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Betty was held Tuesday, April 19 from 10AM-1PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, April 19 at 1PM at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Bro. Gene Smith officiating. All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
