Norma Jean Yost

   Norma Jean Yost was born February 4, 1935, in Potosi, MO and departed this life August 24, 2025, having reached the age of 90 years.

   Norma is survived by her sons, Michael Yost and wife Sue of Potosi, Danny Yost and wife Pam of Ballwin, MO; sister-in-law, Bernadine Yost of Arnold, MO; grandchildren, Amanda Schrum, Eric Yost and wife Emily, 3 great grandchildren in addition to many other relatives and dear and special friends.

   On September 11, 1955, Norma was united in marriage to Raymond Yost and shared many wonderful memories for his passing. In addition to her husband Raymond, Norma was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Mowery and her mother, Dema (Mosley) Mowery.

   Norma spread joy wherever she went. Through the many trials she faced she always kept an optimistic mindset and offered help to those in need. The piano brought her comfort and was an outlet for creativity. Friends and family always enjoyed the many songs she played. Norma was a member of the Baptist church in Jackson, Missouri and often volunteered her time with church activities. The sweet memories of Norma will continue to be a source of comfort to those who loved her.
