LouAnn "NouNou" Nelson

LouAnn "NouNou" Nelson, age 54, of Potosi, MO, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was loved by all and never met a stranger. LouAnn's vibrant and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

Born on March 30, 1969, LouAnn had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She had a zest for knowledge and enjoyed working crossword puzzles and reading her bible. LouAnn found solace in watching TV and loved spending quality time with her family during evening dinners. She had an unbreakable bond with her beloved doggies who brought her immense joy throughout her life.

LouAnn was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta "Tudy" Chamberlain Nelson, father, Wallace Nelson, Brother Jerry Nelson and brother-in-law Billy Coleman.  Despite the profound loss of her parents, she embraced life with resilience and found comfort in the support of her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Cherie Coleman, special friend Dwayne Bievenue; brother Gary Nelson and his wife Sharon; nieces, Mandi Carron and husband Weston, Ava Carron and sister-in-law Linda Nelson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. LouAnn's presence will forever be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Services to celebrate LouAnn's life will be held at Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, MO. A visitation will take place on Monday, February 19th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. 

During this time of mourning for the loss of LouAnn "NouNou" Nelson, we acknowledge the incredible imprint she left on our hearts. Her warm smile, caring nature, and laughter will forever be etched in our memories. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire and uplift us all.
