   Linkin Ray Wideman, of Farmington, Missouri was born on April 25, 2017, a son to Lauren C. Fleming and Zack Wideman. Linkin received his heavenly wings on October 25, 2023. His passing has left an unfillable void in the hearts of his loved ones and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

   He is survived by his mother Lauren Fleming and David Whaley, his father Zack Wideman and Shanay Politte, his brother Elis Wideman, his step siblings Charlee Whaley, Nicolai Whaley, Savannah Whaley, Ashleene Whaley, Alecia Whaley, Dillion Whaley, and Jerry Portell. Linkin's grandparents David and Yenette Lefler, Lindell and Glenda Wideman, and great-grandparents Leon and Shirley Lefler, James David and Mildred Martin, Harold and Mary Lynn Wideman also mourn his loss.

   In addition to his immediate family, Linkin is fondly remembered by many other relatives and special friends. His vibrant presence touched the lives of so many people, including the students and staff of the Farmington R-7 School District. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

   Linkin brought light and joy into the lives of all who knew him. He was a kind and compassionate soul, always helping others with a positive energy that touched everyone he encountered. Linkin's perseverance and strength were truly remarkable, and to know him was to love him. He had a zest for life and a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed playing outside, fishing, and hunting for worms in the woods. Riding bikes was one of his favorite pastimes as well and if it had a motor, he would yell "Rip It". These simple activities brought him immense joy and allowed him to explore the wonders of the world around him.

   May we remember Linkin for the joy he brought into our lives and cherish the memories we shared with him. He has left an indelible mark on all of us and will be greatly missed.
