Leslie Gayle Obenhaus

June 17, 1970 — May 11, 2024

Leslie Gayle Obenhaus, a cherished soul who lovingly shared her light with everyone she encountered, departed this life May 11, 2024. Born on June 17, 1970, in St. Louis, Missouri, Leslie's life was a testament to her fun-loving nature and unwavering care for others. She held dear the values of selflessness and always prioritized the well-being of those around her.

Leslie found joy in the simplest of moments, from spending time with her beloved family and friends to finding solace in her faith at church. Her trials never shook her steadfast belief in Jesus, a cornerstone of strength that guided her through life's challenges.

One of Leslie's proudest accomplishments was being a devoted mother to her children; her love for them knew no bounds and was a source of infinite happiness for her. In every smile they shared and every hug they embraced, Leslie's legacy lives on through the love she bestowed upon them.

In the hearts that mourn her passing, Leslie leaves behind a void that can never be filled. She joins in eternal rest with her husband, Paul Obenhaus; Brother Joel Lawrence, as well as her father, Lynn Lawrence.

Among those who grieve but also celebrate Leslie's life are her surviving family and friends. She is survived by four daughters: Grace Elizabeth Austin (Jesse) of Edwardsville, IL; Sara Michelle Obenhaus, Hope Louise Obenhaus, Holly Lynn Obenhaus - all from Potosi, MO; two sons: Samuel Joseph Obenhaus and Joshua Michael Obenhaus - both from Potosi, MO; one sister Donna Michelle Bond (Michael) of Potosi, MO, and mother, Louise Kahn of Potosi.

May Leslie's memory shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she may have departed this world, the essence of who she was will forever resonate among those whose lives she touched.
