Donald (Donnie) Richard Klavon of Potosi was born on September 1, 1955 in Du Quoin, Illinois a son to the late Edith Mae (Hahn) Klavon and Walter Klavon. Donald departed this life Friday, June 25, 2021, having reached the age of 65 years, 9 months and 24 days.
Donnie was united in marriage to Janet (Horton) Klavon and they were blessed with many wonderful years together.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife Janet; daughters, Kris and husband Greg Redell of St. Peters and their five children and one grandson; Jessica Lott of Potosi and her son, Nicole and husband John Wuest of O’Fallon and their three children; sons, James and wife Marie Torres of Cibolo, Texas and their four children and one grandson, John and wife Linda Torres of San Ramon, California and their daughter; sister, Lauri Kalvon of Arlington, Minnesota; mother-in-law; Barbara Radford-McGuire.
Many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and special friends.
Donnie loved his family. He lived a life full of stories that he loved to share with everyone. He loved spending his time at home with family dinners and playing games together. He will be deeply missed and his memory will live on forever.
There will be no services. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home Potosi, Mo.
