Jeffery Villmer

February 28, 1956 — September 27, 2025

Jeffery Villmer, a beloved family man, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on February 28, 1956, in Richwoods, Missouri, Jeffery led a life filled with love, hard work, and a deep passion for the outdoors.

On January 28, 1989, he was united in marriage to Billye (Branaugh) Villmer. Jeffery took immense pride in being a father and grandfather, cherishing his role within his family as one of his proudest accomplishments. He is survived by his wife, Billye Villmer, and their sons, Charles Villmer and his wife Laura, and William "Bill" Villmer. The joy of his life continued through his daughters, Amanda Horton and her husband Jamie, and Shellie Belt and her husband Chris. Jeffery is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Hannah and (Corey Kemper), Keirstan Baldwin and her husband Jacob, Clara, Owen, Logan, and Ian. He also embraced the role of great-grandfather to Dallas and Shiloh, who brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his siblings, who were an integral part of his life: sisters Mary Studdard and her husband Herman, Shirley Moore, Suzy Brueggemann and her husband Jim, Donna Timmerman, and Peggy Reichardt and her husband Kenny; and brothers Steven Villmer and his wife Barbara, Scott Villmer and his wife Leah, and David Villmer and his wife Stephanie.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (DeClue) Villmer and Joseph Walter Villmer; his brother-in-law, Rick Moore; and his granddaughter, Madeline.

A man of many interests, Jeffery loved restoring tractors and working on old trucks, studying maps and roads. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for hunting, fishing, and hosting family barbecues. He enjoyed listening to old country music, particularly the timeless melodies of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, Sr. An accomplished guitarist, Jeffery also liked discussing politics while grilling outside, bringing friends and family together in shared moments of joy.
