Jeana Ann Davis

Jeana Ann Davis, a beloved member of the Cadet community, passed away on August 10, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and kindness. She was born on September 24, 1972, in Potosi, Missouri.

Jeana is survived by her sisters Sheila Hayes and husband Rob, Roxanne Benton. Marsha Hayes and husband David. Her brothers Scott Davis and wife Pearl, Wayne Davis and Joyce, grieve the loss of their beloved sister and by many nieces, nephews and dear and special friends. Jeana's presence brought warmth to family gatherings, creating lifelong memories that will be treasured forever. Moreover, Jeana's passing leaves a profound impact on her father Jerry Minx. His love for his daughter was immeasurable, and he shared a unique connection with Jeana that will forever hold a special place in his heart.

Jeana was a family-oriented and caring individual who had a deep passion for spending time with her loved ones. She valued the importance of familial bonds and made it a priority to create meaningful connections with those around her. Jeana's warm and loving personality endeared her to everyone she met. Education played an important role in Jeana's life, and she pursued her studies at Patricia Stevens College for two years. Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrated dedication and a thirst for knowledge, which helped shape her into the remarkable person she became. One of Jeana's cherished pastimes was traveling to the St. Louis Muny. This cultural hub provided her with an opportunity to indulge in the performing arts and create lasting memories with friends and family. These experiences enriched her life and brought joy to her heart. In addition to her love for theater, Jeana found solace in music. She enjoyed listening to various genres and found comfort in melodies that resonated with her soul. The Olympics were another passion that captivated Jeana's attention as she marveled at the dedication and skills displayed by athletes from around the world. Jeana leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her impact on others will be felt for years to come.

Though we are mourning her loss, Jeana is rejoicing in the heavens with her father, Sam Davis, and her loving mother, Wilma Jean (Wideman) Minx; aunt, Phyllis Greenlee, and uncle, Eddie Wideman and grandparents, Clarence and Maggie Wideman.

As we mourn the loss of Jeana let us remember the joy she brought into our lives. Her genuine kindness touched the lives of many and served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Though we grieve her departure deeply, we find comfort in knowing that she will forever remain alive in our hearts through cherished memories.
