    James Roy Lee Gilmore, a kind and caring individual, passed away on July 31, 2023. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 27, 1973, James was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Throughout his life, James exuded charisma and possessed an unwavering willingness to help others.

    A true outdoorsman at heart, James found great joy in exploring nature's wonders. Whether it was hiking through picturesque landscapes or simply spending time in his garden, he had a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounded him. Furthermore, he possessed an innate ability to fix anything that came across his path. From tinkering with electronics to repairing household appliances, James' resourcefulness knew no bounds.

    Surrounded by his loving mother Sharon Gilmore and siblings Star Porter, Alice Porter, Virginia Porter, Flora Gilmore, Jamie Gilmore, Melissa Gilmore, and Charles Porter along with his wife Jenifer; James cherished every moment spent with his family. They shared countless memories together and formed an unbreakable bond that will continue to live on.

    In addition to the close-knit family mentioned above, James is survived by his grandmother Alice Turner and Uncle Michael Turner along with Aunt Wendi and cousin, little Michael, Jr. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. The impact of his warm personality and helpful nature extended far beyond just family - he had a multitude of friends who were fortunate enough to experience his genuine compassion.

    James' passing leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew him best. His generous spirit and caring nature ensured that he was a pillar of support for all who sought solace in him. His loss will be deeply felt by everyone whose lives he touched.
