Ronald Emil Isert, Sr.
Ron Isert, Sr. of Potosi, Missouri, was born September 27, 1948, in Stockton, CA, a son of the late Emil and Vera (Ray) Isert. Ron departed this life Saturday, August, 3, 2019, having reached the age of 70 Years, 10 Months and 6 Days.
Ron was united in marriage to Mary Ann Wood on January 25, 1986, in Carson City, NV.
Ron is survived by his wife Mary Ann Isert of Potosi, MO, two daughters, Brittany Isert of Cadet, MO and Kimberly Isert of California, three sons, Brian Isert of California, Ronald “Butch” Isert, II of Potosi, MO and Chris Isert of Valley Springs, CA, two step-daughters, Renee Springs of Sullivan, MO and Marlene Taylor of Oregon and by sixteen grandchildren. In addition to his parents Ron was also preceded in death by one son, Lloyd DeLong and one brother, Delbert McCann, Jr.
Ron was a loving father, husband and a dependable friend to all he knew. Ron took pride in the work he did. He took care of the Potosi First Assembly of God making sure the lawn was neatly manicured and the church maintenance was kept up. Rons attention to detail was present in his every day work. He worked in auto body repair and paint and could beautifully make a vehicle look show room new. He enjoyed taking care of his own home and loved to relax and listen to The Beatles and Elvis with his family. His love and kindness is cherished throughout the community and will be greatly missed by all.
