Mary Josephine Hopkins (Pashia)

Mary Josephine (Pashia) Hopkins, known by all as “Mary Jo”, of Hillsboro, was born December 17, 1953 in Ironton, Missouri a daughter to the late Joseph “John” R. Pashia and Mary Lee (DeGonia) Pashia. Mary Jo departed this life Friday, July 30, 2021 having reached the age of 67 years, 7 months and 13 days.
Mary Jo is survived by her son, Christopher Hahn and wife Anita of Cadet, Missouri; brothers, Joseph L. Pashia and wife Margaret of Esbon, Kansas, Philip G. Pashia and wife Angela of Cadet, Missouri, Stephen R. Pashia and wife Cherry of Bellevue, Nebraska; sister, Brenda M. (Pashia) Droege of De Soto, Missouri; special friend, Jennifer Tina Pashia; four grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends.
Mary Jo had a contagious smile that could light up a room. She loved to do make up and make jewelry match her clothes. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, never missing a game. She loved playing cards particularly Euchre, Rummy and Canasta. She was a loving sister and aunt. She loved to spoil her family. She will be deeply missed and her memory will never be forgotten.
