   Gregory "Pete" DeClue, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on August 11, 1963, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Pete was a person who filled the lives of many with warmth and joy.

   Pete is survived by his son, Nathan Markham, and daughter, Susan Markham. He cherished the time spent with his family, particularly his four grandchildren, who were a source of great pride and happiness in his life. He is also survived by his sister, Candy Perris, along with one niece and two nephews, as well as many other relatives and treasured friends.

   Pete was known for his interests that brought him joy and sparked conversation. He had a fervent passion for watching old war shows and engaging in discussions about politics, often following political events closely on television. In his younger years, he embraced the great outdoors through fishing and hunting, activities he enjoyed thoroughly.

   He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorris (Thurman) DeClue, his father, Harvey Lee DeClue, and his sister, Karen Rose. Their memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

   Pete's departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy will endure through the joyful moments he shared and the love he imparted to his family and friends.
