LOLA GLADYS GREEN
LOLA GLADYS GREEN OF IRONDALE, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JUNE 26, 1910, IN MARGUARD, MISSOURI A DAUGHTER OF THE LATE ROLAND AND ANNIE MAE (ASLINGER) COBB. LOLA DEPARTED THIS LIFE SEPTEMBER 17, 1999, AT NATIONAL HEALTH CARE OF DESLOGE HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHTY-NINE YEARS, TWO MONTHS AN TWENTY-ONE DAYS.
LOLA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO THE LATE JESSE GREEN ON JULY 5, 1942, IN MARBLE HILL, MISSOURI.
LOLA IS SURVIVED BY ONE SISTER, CLARICE BEAM OF ODESSA, TEXAS AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HER PARENTS AND SPOUSE SHE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SONS, THOMAS W. AND JIMMY HARRISON, THREE BROTHERS, R.E., PAUL AND WILLIS COBB, THREE SISTERS, RUBY AND MARY COBB AND BESSIE GREEN.
LOLA HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR MANKIND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP A NEIGHBOR OR A FRIEND. LOLA AND HER LATE HUSBAND JESSE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY WORKING HARD BOTH IN THEIR JOBS AND IN THEIR HOME, AND WERE VERY DEDICATED TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE LORD.
LOLA WAS A KIND AND LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, SISTER AND CHERISHED FRIEND WHO WILL BE SADLY MISSED AND LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
VISITATION WAS HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 1999, FROM 2:30 P.M. TO 9:30 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1999 AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL WITH REVEREND MICHAEL LOCKHART OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BAKERS CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL IN IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, RON KENNON, JOE COBB, GLEN FORINASH, JAMES FORINASH AND GARY GREEN.
