DOROTHY JEAN GARDNER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JANUARY 8, 1938 IN SABULA, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF CHARLES "MAC" AND GENEVA (CARLTON) MCLEOD. DOROTHY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HER RESIDENCE ON AUGUST 5, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-THREE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND TWENTY- EIGHT DAYS.
DOROTHY IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS, TIM SCHRUM AND WIFE LYNN OF CADET, MIKE SCHRUM AND WIFE SUSIE OF VALLE MINES, TWO DAUGHTERS, PAM SHEETS AND HUSBAND GEORGE OF WELLSVILLE, CHERYL BOYER OF TAMPA, FLORIDA, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, ONE BROTHER, CARL MCLEOD AND WIFE LINDA OF IRONDALE, SISTER-IN-LAW, BRENDA MCLEOD OF, AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. DOROTHY WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, LINDELL SCHRUM, HER FATHER, CHARLES "MAC" MCLEOD, ONE BROTHER, GLEN MCLEOD AND ONE GRANDSON, LINDELL K. SKILES
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2001, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8, 2001, AT 11:00 A.M. WITH ELDER LEONARD COMPTON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN SUNSET HILL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, KENNY MCLEOD, JASON MCLEOD, CARL MCLEOD, ARCHIE WINICK, BRIAN BOYER AND D.J. PORTELL.
