She was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband Albert H.      She is survived by her son Lynn (Nancy) Frago, daughters Judi Jarvis, Jan Banks, Joy (Steve) Pasternak, and Jamie (Shawn) Kitchell, 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bette was a faithful member of Irondale First Baptist Church and her greatest loves were her God and her family. For many years, she worked as a beautician and also sold Avon. At the age of 50, she entered MAC nursing school to get her LPN and proudly worked most of her years at the Washington County Health Department serving those in need.
