Duain Patrick Dornbach

Duain Patrick Dornbach departed this life on August 5, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on March 17, 1961, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, Duain dedicated much of his life to serving others, including his service in the United States Army, which he undertook with honor and commitment.

Duain is remembered as a loving husband to Kathy Dornbach. He is also survived by his two sisters, Debra Bowers of Manhattan, Kansas, and Denise Matlock and husband Amos, of Belton, Missouri. His five brothers, David Dornbach of Saint Louis, Missouri, Daniel Dornbach and his partner Pat Lubbers of Robertsville, Missouri, Dale Dornbach and his wife Annette of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, Dennis Dornbach and his wife Valerie of Potosi, Missouri, and Douglas Dornbach.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary (Warence) Dornbach, and his father, Ralph Dornbach. Their memories continue to be cherished as part of his legacy.

Duain's life was marked not only by his military service but also by the deep love for his family, which formed the foundation of his character. He will be greatly missed, yet his legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
