Dorothy Ann Johnson

Dorothy Johnson of Richwoods, Missouri was born on August 6^th, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late, Maybelle (Kramer) Weiss and Henry Weiss. Dorothy departed this life on October 5^th, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Festus, MO having reached the age of ninety-one years, one month, and twenty-nine days.

Dorothy was united in marriage to the late, Gerald Johnson on June 13^th, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union was blessed with three children.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Brian Johnson from Richwoods, Missouri; George Johnson and wife Diana of Redford, Michigan; sister, Lavern Green of Lindsey, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Olivia, Elyn, C.J, Darren; great grandchildren, Lukas, Addyson, Luke; special friend, Lisa Missey of Richwoods, Missouri in addition to many other relatives and friends.  

In addition to her parents and loving husband. Dorothy was proceeded in death by her daughter, Vickie McDaniel; sister, Deloris Steiner- Krull.

Dorothy was an exceptional cook, who enjoyed sharing her recipes with family and friends. In addition to cooking, Dorothy enjoyed knitting, playing Yahtzee, bird watching, watching soap operas and westerns, and spending time in her garden. Dorothy enjoyed her time the most when she was in the presence of her children and grandchildren who she loved so dearly. Dorothy will be missed and the loving memories she left will continue to bring comfort to those who loved her.
