Darren Scott Thebeau, born on June 29, 1969, in Ballwin, Missouri, passed away on September 28, 2025. Known for his fun spirit and kind-hearted nature, Darren was a beacon of joy to those around him. He had a reputation for being a hard worker. He leaves a legacy of warmth and generosity that will be cherished by many.
Darren's life was filled with an array of interests that showcased his vibrant character. He enjoyed playing board games and video games, often gathering with loved ones to share in these joyful pastimes. His love for home projects displayed his commitment to improving and beautifying his surroundings. Furthermore, he was an enthusiastic concertgoer and relished attending midnight showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, reveling in the lively atmosphere they provided.
As a child, Darren attended Sacred Heart Church and school in Eureka, Missouri, Darren's spiritual devotion was evident in the way he lived his life, embracing the values of kindness and compassion. He also formed deep connections with the Monnig family, who were dear to him, and he treasured the moments spent with them.
Darren is survived by his mother, Blanche Thebeau; his sisters, Tina Herbst and Marsha York; and his brother, Charles Thebeau Jr. He also leaves behind the loving Monnig family—Wade, Jessica, Gage, Piper, Tegan, Tad, and Ashley Jones and Cora Jones—as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Darren was preceded in death by his father, Charles Glennon Thebeau, and his grandparents, Roy and Mabel Amsler, Mary and Joseph Thebeau.
Darren will be remembered not only for his laughter and love but also for the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him. His spirit will live on in the fond memories shared by family and friends.
