Barbara Gail (Eubanks) Trueblood – Craig of Potosi, MO was born Monday September 15, 1947 in Ironton, MO the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae (Marler) and C.W. (Ben) Eubanks. Barbara departed this life Friday November 8, 2019 at her residence having reached the age of 72 years, 1 month and 24 days.
Barbara was united in marriage to her first husband Ronald Eugene Trueblood on July 23, 1967 in Potosi, MO; to this union were born two daughters, Stacey Leah and Rebecca Lynn.
Barbara is survived by five daughters: Stacey de Bruijn and husband Paul of Potosi, MO, Rebecca Lynn Trueblood and Fiance Eugene Rouse of Potosi, MO, Debra Koch and husband John of Cadet, MO, Connie Koch and Husband Paul of Cadet, MO, Karen Marler of Potosi, MO, one son, Tim Phares and wife Amanda of Potosi, MO; sister in-law, Debbie Eubanks Park Hills, MO; twelve grandchildren: Benjamen Jeremiah Trueblood, Marina N. Madsen, Colin P. Madsen, Kristen N. Marler and husband Andrew, Erin M. Koch, Tim Craig and wife Brandi, Alexys Hill, Blakeley and Jake Phares, Lilly and Liam Paisley, baby girl Phares; seven great grandchildren: Aden and Owen Marler, Cale and Cora Craig, Aleric Hill, Layla Franklin and Emma Belle Phares. Also surviving are lifelong friends Carol Reed and Mary Rose Nieman and a host of family, friends and cousins. Also, her faithful canine companion, Cricket and feline babies Snips and Olive.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Wayne Eubanks and best friend Deborah F. (Pinky) Benson.
Barbara was active and a respected member of her community. She worked as the secretary for the Mineral Point School District and the Potosi United Methodist Church and was a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce. Barbara enjoyed many activities. She loved to read and watch detective shows on TV in addition to the Food Network. Most of all, her family was her pride and joy and she loved them with all her heart. The times they spent together will be treasured.
