Claud Edmond Wigger, passed away on October 16, 2023. He was born on September 14, 1929, in Leadwood, Missouri, a son to the late Jessie (Smith) Wigger and Joshua Wigger.

Claud was preceded in death by his wife Betty (Powell) Wigger, his mother Jessie (Smith) Wigger, father Joshua Wigger, sisters Juanita Hallmark and Claudine Clark, as well as his brother Clarence Wigger. He was a dedicated husband, brother, and son, known for his generosity to his family and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.

Claud leaves behind a loving daughter, Eugenia "Genie" Jaycox and her husband Gene; granddaughter, Rebecca Boutis and her husband Gregory and great-grandson, Lucian Boutis, who was a source of endless joy and delight for him.

Claud was a great provider to his daughter, as well as his granddaughter, and could be counted on to help in any situation, whether it was teaching his granddaughter to drive or roofing a house. His family and friends appreciated his great sense of humor, as he was always good for a joke or a laugh. Everyone who met Claud loved him, and he touched many lives, often taking on the role of adopted grandfather to those who didn’t have grandparents.

Claud worked for PPG Industries until he retired. He also served in the Navy, where he lived with his wife, Betty, in Hawaii for four years. He loved Hawaii and often talked about his life in the Navy. He loved the outdoors and making turkey callers.

Claud will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
