Carole Louise Dickey

January 31, 1937 — May 19, 2024

Carole Louise Dickey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on May 19, 2024. Carole was a pillar of strength and kindness in her community, known for her unwavering smile and caring nature.

Born on January 31, 1937, St. Louis, Missouri, Carole dedicated 42 years of her life alongside her husband Leo as the owners and operators of Dickey Farm Supply. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her career; she touched countless lives with her generosity and compassion.

Carole was a cherished member of the Belgrade United Methodist Church where she found solace in faith and shared her love for quilting and cooking. Her involvement in the Belgrade Quilt Club brought her immense joy as she bonded with fellow quilters over shared passion and creativity. One of Carole's greatest joys was spending time with her family. Annual trips to Clear Water Lake became treasured traditions filled with laughter and memories that will be forever cherished by her children and grandchildren. Family dinners were a regular occurrence where love and warmth filled the room. In the hearts of those who knew her best, Carole will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, and unending love. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents Faye (Bearden) Snyder and Wendell Snyder, husband Leo Dickey, grandson, Jeremy Dickey, brothers John Snyder, Clinton Snyder, sisters, Marilyn Vineyard, Gerry Allers, brothers-in-law Bill Vineyard, Art Allers, Elmo Dickey, Jack O'Neal and sisters-in-law, Rose Snyder, and Alta Dickey.

She is survived by two daughters: Debbie Bay (Wade) of Caledonia, MO; Diane Tinsley of Caledonia, MO; three sons: Daniel Dickey (Joy) of Dallas, TX; David Dickey (Becky) of Belgrade MO; Donald Dickey (Linda) of Ashton IL; sisters-in-law Ina Carol O'Neal from St. Louis Missouri; Shirleen Snyder from Springfield Missouri.

Her memory lives on through her grandchildren Wm. Micheal Gum (Ashley), Jason Dickey (Candace), Laura Dyess, Aaron Dickey (Brittney), Kimberly Barnhouse (Casey), Shane Tinsley (Whitney), Sean Tinsley (Keri), Cortney Tilson (Lora); great-grandchildren Lexie, Hadleigh,Eli, Mazie, Anniston, Kaiden, Kamryn, McKenna, Kendall, Kalissa, Jazmyn, Audrey, and Hudson.

May we find comfort in the lasting memories Carole has left us with. She may have departed this world but the impact she had on those around her will never fade. May we remember the light she brought into our lives through simple acts of kindness and unwavering care for all those who had the privilege to know her.
