Carol Darlene Jacobsen, a compassionate and caring soul passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born on August 3, 1946, in Potosi, Missouri to Helen (Higgins) Lyons and Luther Lyons. Carol's nurturing spirit and selflessness touched the lives of many during her time with us.

From an early age, Carol exhibited a remarkable penchant for giving and kindness. She was genuinely interested in working with people and found her purpose in helping them navigate the difficult process of prearranging funerals. Her empathetic nature and ability to put others at ease made her an invaluable asset to countless families during their most challenging moments.

Beyond her professional career, Carol's warm personality radiated through her various hobbies and interests. She found joy in culinary pursuits such as cooking and baking, bringing smiles to the faces of those fortunate enough to taste her delicious creations. Carol's talent in the kitchen extended beyond her own home as she delighted local restaurants and events with her culinary expertise.

The creative streak within Carol also led her to sewing, where she demonstrated extraordinary skill in making purses and doll clothes. Her craftsmanship was unmatched, showcasing her meticulous attention to detail and boundless creativity. Through these endeavors, she not only expressed herself but also brought happiness to those around her.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved mother Helen (Higgins) Lyons, father Luther Lyons, and brother Floyd Lyons. Although their absence leaves a void in our hearts, we find solace in the memories shared with Carol throughout the years.

Her brothers Don Lyons and his wife Deloris, Roger Lyons and his wife Katie, as well as David Lyons and Debbie were not just siblings but lifelong companions.
