Carl Alan McLeod, born on June 23, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on July 17, 2026, having reached the age of 64 years. His life, marked by devotion and steadfast love for his family, leaves an enduring impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Carl was a man defined by hard work and a selfless nature. He dedicated himself to the well-being of those he loved, always ensuring that family came first. No task was too great or small. Known for his hands-on approach, Carl delighted in tinkering on everything and working around his home. Whether fixing something that needed attention or creating something new, he took pride in every effort, finding joy in the small details of daily life.

Carl is survived by his children, Tonya Brinley and her husband Andy, and Devin Shontz; his brothers Jason McLeod and wife Sheena, Kenny McLeod and wife Cindy, and Nick McLeod. He is also survived by his five beloved grandchildren: Clayton, Christohper, Hayleah, Jenna Faye, and Stevin and two great grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his children, David McLeod and Ashley Emily; his sister Suzie McLeod; his brother Scott McLeod; and his parents, Belinda and Carl McLeod. Their memories are cherished, and Carl’s reunion with them brings comfort to those he leaves behind.

The memory of Carl will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, dedication, and boundless love for family serves as an example and inspiration to his loved ones and all who were privileged to know him. 

Arrangements are being handled by Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, MO where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026. Funeral services will be at Moore Funeral Home at 6:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026. Interment will be at Big River Cemetery, Irondale, MO.
