Paul Dean Davis of Farmington, Missouri was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936 in Frankclay, Missouri a son of the late, William “Bill” Davis and Velma (Jarvis) Davis. Paul departed this life on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-eight years, five months and five days.
Paul was united in marriage to Carma Sue Barton on February 20, 1959 in Frankclay, Missouri and this union was blessed with five children.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Carma Sue Davis of Farmington, Missouri; two daughters, Paula Forrester and husband, Pat of Irondale, Missouri; Catherine Usher and husband, Larry of Park Hills, Missouri; two sons, Mike Davis of Farmington, Missouri; Terry Davis and wife, Sandy of Irondale, Missouri; two sisters, Ruth Alberta Fraley of Arnold, Missouri; Kathleen Barton and husband, Joe of Irondale, Missouri; one brother, Donald Davis and wife, Dorothy of Pevely, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Bryan, Michael, Colby, Ashley, Kayla, Chelsea, Caleb, Cody and Corey; eleven great-grandchildren; also surviving are many other dear and special relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Lee Davis and one brother, Lester Leon Davis.
Paul loved spending time with his grandbabies and going fishing at the lake. He enjoyed cutting wood and making beautiful items woodworking. Paul was a very generous man who will forever be missed.
Visitation was held Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, September 8, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Irondale, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri with Brother Mike Jarvis officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Adams Cemetery, Frankclay, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Michael Davis, Colby Davis, Bryan Forrester, Caleb Davis, Corey Davis and Alan Hickman.
